Don’t miss the first event of EYP in 2012 – Mini Regional Session in a wonderful city of Vilnius.  The event will take place  on February 3 to 5, 2012.

The expenses of the participants (visa, travel and other costs) will be covered on the basis of competition. The main reason for us to provide you with 100% sponsorship will be the quality of your application. So take a deep breath, concentrate and fill in the application seriously and responsibly. The deadline for the application to be submitted is January 8th, 2012.

NC is your chance! Don’t miss the elections!

Thus, as it is stated in the Statute of the European Youth Parliament-Belarus, we have the NC election every 6 months. This time I would like to renew your thoughts about the role of the National Committee.

The 1st International Forum in Leipzig, Germany (9-15 Oct, 2011)

The last EYP Germany event of the year is just around the corner! We now open selection process for the 1st International Forum in Leipzig which will be held on October 9th – 15th. In one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Germany, it will gather about 80 participants and revolve around the theme of “youth and democracy” – more than ever a contemporary topic with all eyes on the Eurocrisis. The session will be presided by the wonderful Bentley Jaffe and is organized by Franziska H?l?.

The 68th International Session of EYP in Zagreb, Croatia (Sep 30 – Oct 9, 2011)

The 68th International Session of the European Youth Parliament will be organised in Zagreb, Croatia from 30th of September to 9th of October 2011. More than 250 young people from all over Europe will come together to discuss current European topics.

After participation in the IS you will officially become an EYP alumna or alumnus and you will join the large family of those who already have this status. Participation in one of Spring or Autumn IS-s makes you eligible to take part in a Summer IS-s which are designed specifically for alumni.

Don’t lose your chance to represent Belarus at this wonderful event and apply here. As we are in a hurry, please be as quick as possible with applying. The deadline for applying is September, 10 (not later than 21.00 EET).

The applicants are expected to be ready to cover only their travel costs (but there will also be a 100 euro sponsorship assistance towards travel costs). Visa will be free of charge and participation fee of 150 EUR will be covered by the Schwartzkopf Stiftung which supports EYP within the program Jugendes Europa.

European Forum of Young Local Leaders, 20th – 23rd September (Tarnow, Poland)

EYP Poland is delighted to invite all EYPers to take part in European Forum of Young Local Leaders which will take place in Tarnow between 20th and 23rd September.

The event will gather nearly 200 participants from all over Europe who will come together to discuss issues concerning current political situation, economics, and socio-cultural aspects of our lives in the light of the upcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and its priorities.

Event will be divided into three theme sections: the priorities of the Polish Presidency in the Council of the European Union, Polish and European youth policy and the current issues of EU. Read the rest of this entry »

Interested in visiting Belarus, especially Belarusian EYPers? That’s great! We now have a form where you can fill in your details and possible visit times.

We are using form which is standard for Belarusians applying for sessions so there are lots of questions which do not apply to you. Please just answer the questions which make sense to you.

Some fields could be marked as “required” so just put something in there if they are not appropriate for non-Belarusians (e.g. personal number and parental details, parental permission for crossing the border).

The 66th International Session of the EYP in Athens , Greece April 1 – 10, 2011

The session will take place in a beautiful city of Athens from April, 1st to April 10th. This will be a unique opportunity for you to experience not only 2 days of Team Building, 4 days of Committee Work and 2 days of the General Assembly. This session will let you become a part of something big and internationally important where your opinion matters. The successful resolutions submitted at the International Sessions of the EYP are directed to the European Parliament and investigated there as youth initiative. This session will also a chance for to rock at socializing parties, cross-Europe style.
